“In 2021, there were 27,861.16 deaths from childhood leukemia globally. Compared to 1990, the total number of deaths decreased, with a change in cases of -0.52. The mortality rate declined from 3.35 per 100,000 population in 1990 to 1.38 in 2021, with an EAPC of -2.74.

From 1990 to 2021, mortality rates showed a consistent decline across all age groups, with the greatest reduction (70%) in children aged 2–4 years and the smallest reduction (44%) in children aged 10–14 years.”
