“Field operator Aker BP and its partners have made a significant oil discovery that adds substantial new resources to their Yggdrasil field area of the North Sea, the companies said in a statement on Thursday.

The Omega Alfa exploration campaign resulted in the discovery of a recoverable volume estimated at between 96 million and 134 million barrels of oil equivalent, Aker BP said.”
