“Denmark’s central bank more than doubled its growth forecast for this year as surging US sales and production at Novo Nordisk A/S fuel strong exports in the Nordic country’s pharmaceutical industry.

Gross domestic product is now expected to grow 4% in 2026, up from a 1.8% forecast in March, Danmarks Nationalbank said Wednesday. The upgrade largely reflects stronger-than-expected growth in the first half, led by the drug industry, as well as better performance elsewhere in the economy, which has remained resilient despite geopolitical and trade turmoil, the central bank said.”
